A medium-brim hat by Reinhard Plank. Made from woven ramie straw, the crown features a cattleman crease. The hat is crafted from silver-lacquered straw and is partially painted with a shadow-shaped form that follows the brim geometry, fixing the impression of directional light onto the surface as a permanent design element and producing a trompe-l’œil shadow on one side of the hat.
