The Drip Dress

Conceived as a sculpture, “The Drip Dress” contrasts the rigidity of double silk organza with the fluidity of its final appearance. The design embodies pure improvisation, draped from two equal circles. The sewn pleats, executed in a single session, mimic dynamic “sketching” on a “white canvas,” enhancing the structured yet soft and comfortable feel of the dress, reminiscent of a water droplet. The dress is partially finished by hand, with detailed stitching visible only on the inner side.
