Dark Skies Cardigan

An abstract painting of dark skies transformed into a cardigan. This unique piece is crafted following a specially created pattern designed to transform every single gram of wool, mulberry silk, and cashmere into a no-waste piece. The extensive, irreplicable process includes crafting the fabric by hand and hand-dyeing it in two separate baths. The cardigan is entirely stitched with safety pins—a signature of AtellierSeptem. Each pin is applied one by one and then permanently fastened to prevent any damage to the fabric or harm to the wearer. This lengthy process, demanding precision and patience, symbolizes sewing wounds with iron wire and the strength to embrace the inevitable while fighting for what you believe in. The cardigan is completed by a hand-dyed double silk organza belt.
