An unconventional couture interpretation of the little black dress, this piece features irregular pleats through seams that sculpt the double silk organza. It is fully lined with hand-washed and hand-crumpled silk. Its purely geometric shape conforms to the body and its movements. The metal straps are irregularly hand-finished. At the top of the dress, a silk veil offers various styling options, whether draped around the neck or left to move freely. The side parts of the dress are finished with safety pins—a signature of AtelierSeptem—applied one by one and then permanently fastened to avoid any damage to the fabric or harm to oneself. This lengthy process, demanding precision and patience, symbolizes sewing wounds with iron wire and the strength to embrace the inevitable while fighting for what you believe in.
