ISO operates as a collective experiment, merging the distinct technical philosophies of three seminal figures in Japanese design: Tomoaki Okaniwa of The Viridi-anne, Daisuke Nishida of DEVOA, and Yoko Ito of Individual Sentiments. The project functions as a laboratory for co-development, where the primary focus lies in the intersection of specialized textile engineering and complex pattern drafting.
The visual language prioritizes structural asymmetry and deconstructed surfaces, utilizing a monochromatic palette to emphasize the volumes of the clothing. The Elixir [Timeless] Gallery selection exemplifies this technical synthesis. The Asymmetric Zipped Knitted Sweater is the combination of disparate textile weights and hardware-driven construction, the disharmony between unconventional texturing and modern functional components.
Runs one size smaller, we recommend going one size up for the proper fitting.
