Chin Teo works metal through direct, visible production methods, emphasizing weight and irregularity of the material. Hammer marks remain exposed, allowing silver and stones to retain evidence of shaping, and pressure applied during making.

The pieces are hand-formed silver structures that appear to grow around stones with use of eroded silver and the sharp geometry of black diamonds.The finished look is reminiscent of a geological artifact, rather than traditional jewellery.
