DAUB draws from the eclectic Japanese–Italian background, applying minimal, flowy Japanese archetypes to garments shaped with an Italian sense of ease. This approach results in relaxed silhouettes built from archetypal forms.

The work relies on fabric choice and treatment, using raw edges, wrinkled surfaces, and textured materials to alter standard forms through handling rather than decoration, giving the garments their distinct structure and finish.
