Born in traditional Kyoto and raised at the London College of Fashion, IERIB unites the Japanese craftsmanship spirit and bespoke British tailoring culture.
Rei Tanaka, standing behind the brand, is still the one and only who carries an entirely handmade process in every artisanal detail - construction, patterning and dyeing. IERIB is acknowledged by its particular fixation on materials, primarily on signature culatta, also experimenting with mud-dyed linen, Japanese paper, cotton and so on.
Alongside with Guidi, a1923 and Layer-0, IERIB stands out for its almost organic appearance with its aged quality, natural scarring and a characterful matte texture, coupled with remarkable details such as metal inserts in the heels, aged-looking zippers and patinated metal accessories.
