Peau de Bête unfolds like a memory of skin brushed by wild runs through dusky, grassy fields. It captures the tension between animal instinct and intimate familiarity: skin warmed by exertion, scented with earth and spice. Chamomile and cumin rise first, weaving an herbal hum beneath the pulse of heated flesh. As the scent deepens, a smoky haze of styrax and patchouli drifts in, anchored by a quiet base of civet and castoreum that lingers like a remembered caress. Carine Bouin shaped it as a perfume of raw presence, one you don’t wear so much as become.
