Giovanni Cavagna

Giovanni Cavagna, known locally as “mago del lusso” (magician of luxury), established his Milanese studio in 1997 to develop “Tricot-couture”, a practice that elevates knitwear through rigorous research and tailoring. 

Material research drives the brand’s output, specifically the development of garments woven from platinum yarn, as well as utilizing blends of bamboo, linen, and thermo-sensitive textiles. He utilizes industrial knitting machines to engineer three-dimensional garments that replicate traditional tailoring within the knit itself.
