Giorgio Brato

Giorgio Barschi established his namesake label in 2001, transitioning from his family’s motorcycle jacket production to handmade outerwear. Being born into the family of artisans, Giorgio utilizes his Italian heritage to produce leather goods that exquisitely explore the classical outwear archetypes. 

His work with leather goes way beyond patternmaking, modifying it via various techniques that are now a standard within the niche. One of such is “tintura in capo” (garment dyeing) where fully assembled pieces undergo immersion in natural dye vats instead of dyeing the fabric itself.
