Inspired by spring, this silk satin dress is hand-printed with early rosehip blooms gathered under the May rains on the Tuscan hills. It is finished with transparent, coated silk that mimics the effect of morning dew glistening in the sunlight. Crafted from a single piece of fabric draped to avoid waste, the dress embodies a conscious creation. The central seam is executed with safety pins—a signature of AtelierSeptem—serving a practical rather than decorative purpose and symbolically imbuing each piece with strong energy. Safety pins are applied one by one and then permanently fastened to prevent any damage to the fabric or harm to oneself. This lengthy process, demanding precision and patience, symbolizes sewing wounds with iron wire and the strength to embrace the inevitable while fighting for what you believe in. The name of this unique piece reflects the fleeting nature of every flower destined to wilt, while also evoking the idea of eternal return, much like the cycles of nature.
